So I recently finished reading Daddy Long Legs (it seems to be quite influential in Japanese manga, being referred to in both Garasu No Kamen and Candy Candy!) was wondering if anyone else read the novel after reading Glass Mask and, if so, it brought any new light to the Maya x Masumi relationship?

I haven’t read the novel but I did see the anime Daddy Long Legs. The anime is pretty old.

Read the novel after watching the anime "My Daddy Long Legs", the age-gap romance, social class diff. and secret benefactor concept are strong in anime than the original. :sweat:

I read the Daddy-Long-Legs novel, but never watched the anime. I probably have very limited imagination because as far as I know, DLL doesn't shed any light on GnK.
